The Penghu Islands
In June, Yen Mama and Melissa took us to the Penghu islands, also known as the Pescadores. What a beautiful place! It was quiet, friendly, and relaxing. In fact, I would have to say that Penghu is one of the best places we visited when we were in Taiwan, if not THE best place.
In the past, the Penghu islands were under Chinese control, Dutch control, pirate control, and Japanese control. The islands have been governed by Taiwan since the end of World War II.
